This is also part of the new normal in retail: the retailer’s website as a source of information before making a purchase has become significantly less important. Much more interesting, however, are the customers who find a product without any specific search for information. These buyers do not necessarily need an upstream desire or reason to shop. One reason: During the pandemic, many people have switched to simply browsing around marketplaces and getting excited about new products during digital window shopping.
