Conventional storage systems require space for walkways and driveways. The AutoStore System, on the other hand, works with a grid structure that saves this space by using the entire available volume. The AutoStore robots travel along the top of the grid at up to four metres per second, storing and retrieving the totes.
Picking and connection to the existing intralogistics are carried out at the workstations.
The controller forms the interface for the internal data flow and provides fast access to inventory data in cooperation with any WMS software.
