Nomagic becomes partner of Reesink Logistic Solutions

September 2022

Nomagic, a startup specializing in intelligent pick-and-place robots, is a new partner of Reesink Logistic Solutions Division (RLS) for the automation of goods receiving and picking in AutoStore projects. The cooperation agreement was signed on June 1 during the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart at the RLS booth in Hall 1/B31. This will allow RLS to benefit from the unique advantages of Nomagic’s artificial intelligence-based robotics solutions, which can be used to efficiently complement AutoStore systems, for a period of three years. The companies Lalesse Logistic Solutions in the Netherlands and AM Logistic Solutions in Germany, which belong to RLS, also benefit from the partnership.

“In cooperation with Nomagic, we can offer our customers longer uptime for their AutoStore systems as well as more flexibility in picking and receiving. This brings warehouse automation systems closer together, speeds up logistic processes and ultimately reduces the capital commitment of warehouse users in their product portfolio,” explains Gert Bossink, Vice President of Royal Reesink and Division Director of Reesink Logistic Solutions.

“The partnership with Reesink Logistic Solutions is another milestone for Nomagic that will open the way to many potential customers and projects in Europe. We look forward to working with RLS on integrated automation projects to demonstrate the autonomy and performance of our solutions and technologies in the DACH region and Benelux,” emphasizes Nomagic CEO Kacper Nowicki.

The collaboration between Nomagic and RLS – represented by the German AM Logistic Solutions – has already proven its worth before the contract was signed: Together, the two partners won the tender for an automated AutoStore warehouse at a contract logistics company. AM Logistic Solutions and Nomagic were able to prevail against the largest competitors in Germany.

Nomagic is a technology leader in intelligent robotic solutions for pick-and-place. Their self-learning algorithms and remote monitoring systems allow the solutions to operate with a high degree of autonomy and limit the on-site interventions required by operators. As a result, Nomagic systems pay for themselves in less than two years.

The solution portfolio includes “Nomagic justPick” for picking from AutoStore and shuttle systems and “Nomagic justInduct” for feeding items into packaging machines or bag sorters. The machines, equipped with artificial intelligence, can recognize and pick up a wide variety of items. The spectrum ranges from small boxes and blister packs to cartons, plastic bottles or textiles in pouches. All solutions are based on mature and proven robot arms from ABB and Universal Robots.

The project time from initial planning to installation is about six months. The subsequent cost savings are 50 to 75 percent. Integration into existing warehouse management systems via interfaces is not required.

Founded in 2017, the Warsaw-based company currently employs around 60 people. In addition to the Swiss retailer Brack.ch, customers include the French e-commerce platform Cdiscount.

Reesink Logistic Solutions is a leading provider of automated warehouse logistics. With more than 50 years of experience in automation, rack building and software customization, the RLS group of companies delivers state-of-the-art integrated automation solutions.

RLS is one of the leading AutoStore integrators in Western Europe and has already installed more than 100 AutoStore systems. In 2021, the focus of RLS’ growth has shifted to Central and Eastern Europe with new offices in Austria and Poland. The range of services extends from consulting and planning to the operation of all storage solutions offered – whether new or modernized.
